Originally from Sao Paolo, Brazil, he was visiting the states in 1998 when he met Mestre Cobra Mansa for the first time. A few months later, he decided to stay for good and train under Mestre.
Over the years, Fabio continues to feel a great sense of gratitutde towards the art form. Capoeira enriches his life on all fronts. He says: “Sometimes you give a little bit more so that, in the end, there is someone there to share with you. I like to think that I bring a sense of joy and appreciation for the game and respect for the players. Because we all come from different walks of life and that needs to be honored when we enter the roda.”
